How to stop Pupi from: Chewing, Pawing and biting the couch
If your pupi is constiently chewing, digging, and pawing under and around your couch, take a deep breath grab the dog's favorite toy, pull her away, play with her and when you have put her in another room or in her crate (anywhere away from the couch) then check under the couch (everywhere underneath, move the whole couch if you have to!) Check for food, (human or dog, it could happen) toys or anything that has a sent sock, pencil, toilet paper ( a dog's favorite treat), etc. With my dog, there's usually food or one of her toys or an ice cube that she lost, she usually stops the digging and chewing after I clean it out (and besides she helps keep under the couch pretty clean), after you clean it out, if your dog still does the same thing, (and your sure you got EVERYTHING out) consider investing in some bitter apple spray (sold at most pet supply stores) and spray the problem area (NEVER and I mean NEVER spray the spray on the dog, the spray is for objects only, it does no harm when the dog puts their mouth on it though it just tastes really gross!) but believe it or not some dogs actually enjoy the bitter taste so for those pooches it's recommended to try some red pepper juice with a little garlic or Tabassco sause.
