Molly has allergies, major skin problems that include:
Thickness
Dryness
Extreme Itching
Hot Spots (red spots with sticky/oozyness)
Dandruff
Thinning of hair
Scales

She itches all day every day, I recently started her on a new food that she seems to like called Blue Chicken & Rice Adult Dry food, her previous kibbles were Nutro Natural choice (not good quality) & Eukanuba Small breed which in my opinion was not so good also, because it has by-products and corn products, is stinky and greasyish and leaves residue. But that's not the only food Molly's tried, in an attempt to find the perfect dog food for Molly, here's some bumps in the road:
(Take Note: I DO NOT recommend these brands!)

All of the listed foods are foods that Molly has tryed and all before this whole infamous pet food recall, no offense to all the companies and their buyers but all of these foods are NO GOOD they should not even be considered to give a try, I do not recommend these foods to anyone and if you are feeding any of these brands, I recommend you switch to a much more healthier, real dog food diet. Dogs are not humans but that doesn't mean you should just feed them garbage. If you're going to spend your money on  dog food period it should be a healthy one or you might as well be feeding them table scraps, at least it will be real food that is human grade.

If you're wondering what Molly's currently eating it's Blue Buffalo Chicken & Rice Dry.
I still take percaution with the kibble, and not many dog food brands can be trusted, but you shouldn't be so afraid to feed your dog food, as long as the food has healthy ingredients and a reputable reputation. I'd recommend this brand but whatever you're comfortable with is what you should feed your dog.

Don't believe EVERYTHING your hear, read, or that a food company/store tells you. Most claims are false, uneducated guesses or sales pitches. You need evidence before you spend your money on some cheap old bag of corn meal with a fancy name and pretty picture of a puppy or two on it. The first 10 ingredients should be what the specific type of food is called, and there should be real meat and NO by products in it, (by products are basically what you pull out and off an animal, i.e. chicken, and throw away, feet, necks, heads, and everything else gross, it's all blended up and added as a filler) There should be NO fillers, corns, wheats, soys, by products, animal fat, or concentrated ingredients such as rice protein concentrate, glutens, beet pulp (a load of sugar that irregulates your dog's waste production IOW, constipates/backs up waste).

About "Going Raw": Going raw when it comes to feeding your dog seems to have become as famous as "going green" to help the environment, but like going green there is a right and wrong way to it. You can't just buy a package of raw meat and throw your dog some bones,  this takes time, study, alot of money, and fresh meat and specific bones as well as vitamins and it takes dedication. If you have the time to study and be devoted to doing this everyday of your dog's life, have the proper funding to keep your dog on raw (remember meat MUST be fresh daily)
more power to ya.
Good Brands on the market:
Healthy Commercial Dog Foods

*Blue Buffalo
*Merrick
*Eagle Pack Holistic
*Solid Gold

As you may know it's still a little hard to trust commercial dog food companies these days but check the ingredients, the lower quality ingredients, the lower quality the food. Sure even "healthy"
(or what seems to be) may get recalled, have scandal, etc. but ask other pet owners, read up on the food company's website & do your homework.
But don't be afraid to feed your dog, just educate yourself.
