Welcome to PupiHood.com's Puppy Stages!
When I first got my dog, Molly I expected the cute little puppy who would maybe nip and grow out of it and I thought, puppy adolesence, that's probably a walk in the park, I was wrong! Puppies go through trying stages in their first year and beyond, but we're here to help you know what to expect and let you know, your dog is not a lemon, and you aren't a bad owner (if you're training, exercising, feeding, watering, bathing, and playing with your dog, you're doing great!) but at certain stages it seems like you've failed or they are just a bad dog, but you must realize, dogs go through a rebellious stage before they become an adult (1 year) which is their adolesence, sort of a teenage phase, they rebel and try to do things their way, to see who really is boss in the house, you or them, whoever stands firmer in the household, is the "alpha dog" in their eyes, and if you aren't taking the roll, they will. To a dog, somebody's got to be the leader. So we will lead you through the stages that every dog goes through and how to survive them.
Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
